7 American Funds among the Morningstar® “Thrilling 31”

For the 11th year in a row, investment research firm Morningstar included several of Capital Group’s American Funds on its list of "great" mutual funds. Of the 31 funds chosen from a universe of more than 8,000 eligible funds, seven were American Funds: 
 


Funds were selected based on what Morningstar believes are the “data that are linked to strong long-term performance,” 8 tests assessing returns, expenses, risk, analyst ratings and more. Less than half of 1% of the screened funds made the final cut.
