If you receive statements from your brokerage firm or your bank, you’ll need to sign up for e-delivery of annual reports on a different website.
You can also contact your financial professional for help with e-delivery.
It can take 4 to 6 weeks for your electronic delivery request to be processed.
You may also receive prospectuses and reports in the mail if other members of your household own American Funds. They’ll need to sign up separately for electronic delivery.

Some documents, such as proxy voting letters, account change notifications and tax information, are sent via mail for compliance or security reasons.
No. If you are signed up for e-delivery, we’ll email you when the document is available online. Otherwise, you will receive the document via mail.
Some types of accounts, such as 401(k)s and 403(b)s, are not eligible for e-delivery.
You can generally view your e-statement 2 to 3 days after the close of the quarter.
Log in to your account and go to your Statements & Tax Forms page. If you signed up for e-delivery of your quarterly statements, we’ll send you an e-mail each time a new e-statement is available.
You can generally access current and prior-year statements. Year-end account statements are stored indefinitely.

To determine immediately if your transaction has been processed, log in to your account. A “Pending” link should appear next to the fund(s) affected.
If you have signed up for email notification, you’ll receive an email several minutes after completing your transaction. The email will confirm that your transaction request has been received.
