Estimated Midyear Capital Gain Distributions

Several American Funds are expected to pay midyear capital gain distributions in June. See the table below for details.

New: EuroPacific Growth Fund® and Washington Mutual Investors Fund℠

In addition to their regular distributions in December, EuroPacific Growth Fund and Washington Mutual Investors Fund will begin paying midyear capital gain distributions, if available.

By paying midyear distributions, the funds will be able to better distribute capital gains as they’re realized.

EuroPacific Growth Fund will also begin to pay an additional income dividend in June, if available. Washington Mutual Investors Fund will continue to pay income dividends quarterly. Both funds’ next income dividend payment is expected in June 2017.
