How much can I buy?

The minimum amount you invest in funds that you already own should not be less than $50.

If you’re buying shares in a new fund, the minimum initial investment for all account types is $250 ($1,000 for the money market fund and state-specific tax-exempt funds).

The total amount you can invest on the web per day for all of your accounts is $100,000.

Please note: For 2014, the total you can contribute to all your IRAs is $5,500 ($6,500 if you’re age 50 or older) or 100% of compensation, whichever is less. The annual contribution limit for a Coverdell Education Savings Account is $2,000. Contributions exceeding these amounts may be subject to IRS penalties.
