  • Intermediate Bond Fund of America: Has offered low correlation to equities, as well as reduced credit and interest rate risk through high-quality bonds; fund dollar-weighted average maturity is 3-5 years
  • Short-Term Bond Fund of America: A high-quality fixed-income strategy that seeks higher yield than money markets with less interest-rate volatility than longer term bonds
